​Sheri is a Lake Elmo resident and enjoys all aspects of the Midwest climate - a true Minnesotan!  She is passionate about her health and enjoys the year round climate changes -- so she can hike, bike, cross country ski, camp and garden. A lover of the the St Croix River she and her family enjoy boating on the river whenever possible. Other interests encompass yoga, travel, organic cooking, and attending local events in the community. ​
​She spends much of her time with her husband Terry and her two grown children, Camille and Melany.  Family time is essential to Sheri and helps her stay grounded. She takes time to enjoy life and share that time with friends. Many of these friendships have developed from the wonderful clients she has had the pleasure to meet.

​Melany Thelander has been been a part of the realtor life since she was a baby.  As Sheri's daughter she has helped with it all - and now as a full time trained Keller Williams Premier Realty realtor she is stepping up and has become a part of the Golden Homes team.

Melany lives in Oakdale, close to her mother and the office, she loves the area and the Lake Elmo Park Preserve. In her free time she enjoys tending to her many indoor plants, spending time with her beloved 15 year old cat Tommy, and entertaining her rambunctious 3 year old Conure Parrot named Peaches.
She is very passionate about customer service, she bartended and waitressed for a few years and prior to that worked in retail and at a flower shop! Anything that allows her to connect and help others is a job worth having to her.  She is beyond grateful to have a career as meaningful as this. Once she starts a job she sees to it that she does her best and get it done the right way.

About Our Closing Team

Once you find a buyer for your home or you find the perfect home to buy there is still a lot of work to be done -- paper work, title searches, warranty deeds, settlement statements and then comes "closing" - signing all of those papers and making it legal. Our team of trusted professionals will help you every step of the way.

Transaction Coordinator
Nicki DeGroot communicates with clients through the whole process once an offer is accepted.  She handles all the paperwork once it is submitted to the office.  She keeps it all organized!

Associate Closer
Nicole Donofri communicates with the buyer/seller once the house is sold/purchased.  She runs title searches, prepares several documents such as the warranty deed and settlement statement and overall does not get paid enough!  After closing she also makes sure all the documents get recorded at the county.

Jenny Koenig is the "closer".  You'll see at closing and she comes with a stack of papers for you to sign.  She is very good at summarizing all the forms into a quick and understandable format.  [Bio]
